Code Club - FREE Code Club for kids

Code Club happens on the second Saturday of every month in the Makespace classroom.

This is a FREE coding club for people aged 7-17, run by volunteers.

**IMPORTANT: This event page is just here to book the room out and inform Makespace members that it exists. Please ensure all coders (that's the young people) have their place secured by registering them through the CODE CLUB PORTAL.**

Learn coding in 😺 Scratch, 🐍 Python and more! No experience is required - just bring your kids along so they can have some fun!

Make sure you bring:

• 💻 A laptop, if you have one. If you are struggling to source one then we can lend you one courtesy of the wonderful people at Makespace.
• 🔌 A charger (for the laptop!)
• 👩‍👦 A parent! (Very important). If your child is 12 or under, a parent or guardian must stay with them during the session.

We need to ensure we have enough mentors to run a good session. To help with this, please book all coders (that's the kids) into the Code Club portal, as spaces are limited:
