Woodworking for Beginners: Carve a Bowl by Hand

We welcome anyone interested in trying woodworking with hand tools.

In this session, we’ll carve a simple bowl from a wooden blank
using hand tools.

We’ll begin with a short introduction to tool use and safety,
Then spend most of the session carving.
It’s a great first project for getting comfortable with hand tools
and learning how wood behaves as you work.

As last week’s session had to be moved to a different time,
We’re running the same class again this Friday
so that people who couldn’t make it still have a chance to join.

Anyone who attended last week is also welcome to come back,
either to start a new bowl or finish the one they began,
Though priority will go first to new people who missed out last time.

The session will run alongside Woodcraft Club,
and if there are open slots during the evening,
Club attendees are welcome to join in, too.
