ML/AI Club meetup
Details
Please join us for our next AI Club session.
For this next session we have two scheduled demos plus our usual updates and check-ins. Our use of the "Owl" conference call device went well but I'm not so sure about Jitsi Meet as we had some connectivity issues during the meeting. Let's try Google Meet again, this time on a paid account so it should last for more than 1 hour. I'll aim though to keep our session to 1.5 hours in total. The link is here: https://meet.google.com/ahr-ieyy-xtm. I've updated our website too: https://ai-club.uk/
Please join us if you can.
AI Club is a community for people interested in understanding, experimenting with, and building with artificial intelligence. The purpose of the club is to learn together, share experience, support each other’s projects, and explore where these technologies are heading.
This is MakeSpace AI Club, so the emphasis is practical: testing ideas, sharing what works, learning from each other, and finding possible collaborations where interests align.
Sessions are informal and discussion-led. They typically include a mixture of updates, demonstrations, short presentations, technical exploration, and wider discussion. Topics may include AI tools and workflows, local models, coding assistants, Linux and infrastructure, machine learning, business applications, education, scientific discovery, governance, and the wider social and philosophical implications of AI.
Members range from curious non-specialists through to people with technical and professional experience. You do not need to be an expert to take part. The only requirements are an enquiring mind, a commitment to truth-seeking, and a willingness to learn and contribute constructively.
We meet every other Thursday at 6:30pm UK / London time.
In-person attendance is open to MakeSpace members and guests of MakeSpace members. Anyone interested is welcome to join remotely.
Please see our website at https://ai-club.uk/ for more information about the club and our current remote access link.
