Wood Turn & Talk

Third instalment of an event to bring the MakeSpace Woodturning community closer together, be you new to the craft or an experienced turner.

Inspired by the number of wonderful clubs that have recently been established, the idea is to utilise the 2 lathes and the expertise & inspiration within the community to help each other and fuel future projects.

Bring your current or recent work, bring your questions and ideas. I expect this will be a mix of live demo and practice at the lathes, mixed with chat over hot drinks and project pieces.

I might bring a little demo/theme, that people could have a go at and bring their interpretation to the next event.

I hope to see many of you there and, if you're interested, ask me about the next Cambridge Woodturners Club meeting.

Note: You'll need to be a signed-off member to work on the lathe, but everyone is welcome to join the chat and get inspired.
