(Space busy) Making Leaders @ Makespace - King's E-Lab Laidlaw Session
Details
This Saturday we're welcoming students from the King's College Entrepreneurship Lab (E-Lab) as part of the Laidlaw Scholars Programme.
The afternoon will introduce students to Makespace through a tour of the workshop, short talks from members, and a series of hands-on "Micro-Make" activities. It's an opportunity to showcase our community and inspire the next generation of makers, engineers, designers and entrepreneurs.
Using the space
Makespace will remain open as usual throughout the event.
Some areas of the workshop (Classroom, Jewellery Bench, Hand Tools benches, and Craft room) will be busier than normal while activities are taking place, so please be aware that you may encounter groups of visitors moving around the space.
You're welcome to carry on using the workshop as normal.
If you're working on a project, we'd really appreciate you helping make our guests feel welcome. One of the most valuable parts of a visit to Makespace is meeting members, seeing projects in progress, and learning how our community works. If you have a few minutes to say hello or answer questions about what you're making, it will make a real difference.
Interested in helping?
We're still looking for Makespace members who can help facilitate activities, support workshops, or simply chat with students during the afternoon. If you're interested, please RSVP below.
