Kings E-Lab Volunteer Familiarisation

On Thursday 1 October, Makespace is hosting 90 students for a hands-on electronics and entrepreneurship day run with King's E-Lab. This is the session where volunteers get familiar with what we're actually doing on the day.

We'll go through the electronics session end to end — the kit the students build, the soldering, how to run a table of five, and the pitch brief they work to.

If you're helping on the 1st, this is the session that makes the day easy. If you're still deciding whether to help, come along and see what's involved before you commit.

You don't need to be an electronics expert. If you can use a soldering iron safely, or you're just good at helping someone who's stuck, that's exactly what's needed.

On 1 October itself, volunteers are at Makespace by 9:30am and we finish by 2:00pm. Students run 10:00–11:30 and 12:00–13:30, with the two groups swapping between Makespace and King's at the changeover.
