What we’re about
I'm a recent arrival in Ireland, looking to find or start a group of people to play wallyball, a fast indoor version of volleyball. It's played in a racquetball court and the walls are fair game! It has several advantages over volleyball: it's indoors... it's interesting and different while still taking advantage of volleyball skills... it can be faster because the walls keep the ball inbounds and there are wicked shots you can take impossible in volleyball... and nobody has to go chasing a missed ball down the hill!
(There are some limits to keep it from just being a power-fest. We can discuss if anyone is curious.)
I have the equipment but no venue yet. If there is interest I'll start calling around to find a place we can play. I'm in Malahide but I'm happy to go any reasonable distance to find the right place and crowd. Sign up if you're interested and we'll take the next steps!
