Mamaya Health: Adoption & Foster Parent Support Circle
Group Description:
Parenting through adoption or foster care is a journey filled with deep love, layered emotions, and unique challenges—and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
The Mamaya Health Adoption & Foster Parent Support Circle is a virtual, peer-led space for adoptive and foster parents to connect, reflect, and receive support from others who truly understand. Whether you're in the early stages, managing long-term placements, navigating open adoption, or experiencing reunification, this group is here to hold space for it all.
We meet once a month for a 1-hour virtual session to talk openly, build community, and care for our own emotional well-being while showing up for our kids.
Topics may include:
• Bonding and attachment
• Navigating birth family relationships and case systems
• Parenting children with trauma histories
• Advocacy, burnout, identity, and grace
Who this group is for: Adoptive and foster parents at any stage in the journey
Where we meet: Online (Zoom)
How often: Monthly
Cost: Free
