Mamaya Health: Support Group for Parents Who Have Experienced Loss
Group Description (for Meetup):
Grief after pregnancy or child loss is deep, personal, and often invisible to the world—but you don’t have to carry it alone.
The Mamaya Health Support Group for Parents Who Have Experienced Loss is a virtual, peer-led space for parents navigating the heartbreak of miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or any form of child loss. Whether your grief is recent or years old, this group offers a space to be heard, supported, and held with compassion.
We meet once a month for a one-hour virtual session, offering a gentle space for connection, reflection, and healing in community with others who understand.
Topics may include:
• Navigating grief and anniversaries
• Talking to others about your loss
• The emotional impact on identity and relationships
• Honoring your child’s memory in your own way
• Finding moments of peace amid the pain
Who this group is for: Any parent who has experienced pregnancy or child loss
Where we meet: Online (Zoom)
How often: Biweekly, Tuesdays at 12pm CST, with flexible timing to accommodate your needs.
