About us
Hi! I'm Matt, I took over this group a year or so ago. The original message said 'Manc Mates is a group for all who want to explore the city and find others to do activities with.' This is still the case! I don't have a WhatsApp group for this so have deleted the info. This group is for events that aren't nightlife - things that are a bit more individual. I'm hoping to try out Base Mcr, Alcotraz, Jump City etc.

Dishoom Breakfast
Dishoom, 32 Bridge Street, Manchester M3 3BT, Manchester, GBDishoom is a great Indian restaurant off Deansgate. I went there about a year ago for lunch. Their breakfasts are apparently renowned too.
'At Dishoom, you’ll find the food of all Bombay – its cafés, grills, street stalls, homes and everything delicious in between. Come, eat your way through the city with us, for breakfast, lunch, afternoon chai, dinner or late-night tipples. Much awaits you.' - website.
How about an early Saturday night for once and a breakfast in town on Sunday? Maybe a stroll about after.

Kyle MacLachlan – Fictional Selves
Manchester Opera House, Manchester Opera House, 3 Quay St, Manchester M3 3HP, Manchester, GBActor Kyle MacLachan is well known for decades of TV and movie appearances, mostly with surrealist director David Lynch. He's captivated audiences in Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Dune ('84 original) and Showgirls (although he probably doesn't want to talk about that).
We're sure to find out though, as he discusses his new autobiography 'Fictional Selves' in the Opera House in October.
Tickets start at £36 on the AGT site. I doubt we could all sit together, but then why would we need to? We'll be listening to him. I'd be up for getting food or coffee etc afterwards and chatting.
