The Rise of China: A force for good or bad? With guest speaker Jenny Clegg.

China's emergence as a major global power has major implications for the rest of the world, but what are they?

For our November meeting, we are honoured to be joined by Jenny Clegg, a former academic and specialist in this subject. Jenny taught at the University of Central Lancashire and has had several books published, including: China's Global Strategy: Towards a Multipolar World

The first half of the meeting will involve Jenny speaking for about twenty minutes, giving us her insight on the topic in question. After this, she is happy to take questions. As always, please keep questions respectful to our guest.

After the break, we will be resuming our normal format and debating as a group on the topic.
