Queer Climbing Social 🧗 PRIDE SPECIAL 🏳️‍🌈

*This event is hosted entirely by Rock Over Climbing (Manchester Central)*

Our usual scheduled Queer Climbing Social will instead be a 3-hour Pride special!!
(Our next regular Queer Climbing Social will be Friday 05 September)

With games such as Rainbow Boulder Bingo (with the opportunity to win a 3-month pass!), food (incl. a Vegan Chilli), and lots of fun climbs to try (incl. some unique off-piste boulder problems) this social climbing session promises to be a fantastic way to end the week, and start your Pride weekend!!

Entry Fee has been reduced to £9 for the day!
(If entry fee is a barrier to attendence we have subsidised options for those who need it, and free entry options for non-white climbers. To arrange either of these please reach out to us directly (not Rock Over Climbing) and we will organise that for you.)

(Please note: we highly recommend completing the Rock Over Climbing 'registration' process prior to arrival - it will seriously slow down your entry to the centre if you have to complete it on arrival. You can complete the registration here)

Here's how the team at Rock Over describe it:

• The event will run from 6pm – 9pm and you’re welcome to stay either side of those times.
• Our main game of the evening will be Rainbow Bingo. Climbs will be tagged with various pride flags, send your choices and add them to your bingo card. The game finishes with a normal round of bingo, with prizes up for grabs!
• There will be some off-piste problems for everyone to try – off-piste means anything from partner climbs, or unusual holds, to rope swings!
• We will be serving vegan chilli to keep you fuelled throughout the evening and to give you a chance to sit down and get to know your fellow queer climbers and the community.
• As this is a social event the focus will be on meeting like-minded people and getting to know our LGBTQ+ community. You’re in control of how much and how hard you climb, and bingo problems will start from VB (suitable for beginners) so everyone can be included. Allies are also welcome to support our celebration.
