Join us for a relaxed walk around Heaton Park to capture the cherry blossoms and the best of spring!
Whether you’re a pro with a DSLR, a smartphone snapper, or just want a lovely stroll with the community, everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level or equipment.

Meeting Point: Lakeside Café (by the boating lake)

🚶 The Route & Accessibility
We’ll be following wide, flat, tarmacked paths (wheelchair/walking aid friendly) with a gentle incline toward Heaton Hall. The route includes the Cherry Blossoms, Heaton Hall, and the Animal Centre.
Facilities: Toilets and cafés are available at the start, middle, and end of the walk.
Pace: Relaxed and social, no one gets left behind!
🚌 Getting There
Tram: Heaton Park stop (Bury Line) is best from the City Centre.
Bus: 135 from Piccadilly Gardens, or local services 59, 90, 149, 156, 164, 484, and X53.
Parking: Sheepfoot Lane (closest), St Margaret’s Rd, Smithy Lodge, or Grand Lodge. All are Pay & Display.
Blue Badge: Free parking available at all car parks (no designated blue badge bay required if badge is displayed)
