Key Details:

  • 8th of April 2026
  • Meeting at Piccadilly Train Station (outside the Sainsburys), at 11:50 to catch the 12:18 train to New Mills.
    Then a 2.5 hour walk around New Mills.
  • Getting the train back to Piccadilly.
  • FREE TRAIN TICKETS, EMAIL RECOVERY@LGBT.FOUNDATION to get them.

For this month’s Wellbeing Walk we are exploring a new place in New Mills. We have a 2 hour circular walk exploring all the beautiful nature on offer.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable, sturdy shoes
  • A waterproof layer
  • A bottle of water
  • Appropriate clothing to weather
  • Lunch / Snacks

Travel:
We will meet at 11:50 at Piccadilly Train Station, outside the Sainsburys. From there we will grab our tickets and jump on the 12:18 train to New Mills.

Accessibility:
The majority of walk will be accessible, with consistent benches for those who need rests during the walk!
