Hey everyone - sharing here for anyone this might be relevant for, or who might know someone that it'll be a help to. It'll be similar open vibes to the Community Cafe; but specifically aimed at supporting LGBTQ+ migrants connect and find their community

A welcoming space to connect, share, and feel supported
Join us for an uplifting community meetup created specifically for LGBTQ+ migrants and newcomers in Greater Manchester. In partnership with Yaran Northwest—a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable adults, new immigrants, and their families—we’re building a space where you can:

  • Meet others with shared experiences
  • Build friendships and community connections
  • Explore resources that support your mental health and wellbeing
  • Feel seen, heard, and valued in an LGBTQ+‑affirming environment

Whether you’re new to the UK, navigating a recent move, or simply looking for a supportive space, this meetup is designed to help you feel grounded and connected.

Who is this for?
This event is open to all self‑identifying LGBTQ+ people, inclusive of every gender identity, trans status, queer expression, and racial or cultural background.
