About us
Are you interested in psychology as a subject? Are you passionate about learning about how the brain works? Do you have no formal employment in any psychology field but find it interesting regardless? Me too.
I'm Matt, I'm 42. I have memory difficulties from an Acquired Brain Injury. I've been a patient in psychology and psychotherapy, I've read a lot of books in the field, but I'm still a total amateur. I set up this group to see what I can learn about the field of psychology, and perhaps how I might be able to help others in that field. I want the group to be a social opportunity to connect with others, Make friends, learn and maybe understand ourselves a little more. This might be through a coffee or food and a group chat in the evening, or it could be through an activity of some kind.

Egg & Co: Tell us about your favourite psychology book
Egg & Co, 247 Deansgate, Manchester M3 4EN, UK, Manchester, GBIt's been hard trying to find a place to meet that's open in the evenings, not too loud, doesn't serve alcohol or junk food, has the space for us and isn't massively unethical. I've found a couple of places - Let's start with Egg & Co on Deansgate. Obviously there isn't much else on the menu than eggs, but it's clean, has seats and is a great smart new place.
Bring a psychology book, tell us all about it. I love a good book reccomendation.
