Cook with Nonna: An Evening of Authentic Italian Flavor 🍝 (Back by Popular Demand!)
We had such a fantastic time last time—so we're bringing it back! Due to the overwhelming love for our first session, we're thrilled to invite you once again into our kitchen—virtually—for another unforgettable evening of cooking with me and my spirited Italian grandmother (“Nonna”).
Join us at 6pm for a 40-minute session which will have dinner ready on the table for you and the family at the end of it! On te menu is Spaghetti alla Checca sul Rogo, a simple yet soul-satisfying dish that bursts with summer-fresh flavor. If you missed it before, now’s your chance. If you came last time—come back for seconds!
Ingredients to have ready (for 4 people):
- 500g Spaghetti (ideally Barilla No. 5, just like Nonna swears by)
- 300g sweet, sun-ripened cherry tomatoes (normal tomatoes work just as well!)
- 100g freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves of fragrant garlic
- A handful of fresh herbs—rosemary, basil, sage—your choice!
- A generous splash of golden olive oil
In under an hour, we’ll guide you step-by-step—from the sizzle of garlic in the pan to that first heavenly twirl of spaghetti on your fork. Nonna might even share a few of her “secret” tips passed down through generations (and maybe a cheeky story or two).
