Welcome to Mandarin Brush Strokes for New Beginners. This group is for anyone who has ever been curious about the art of Chinese calligraphy but felt intimidated by the complexity of the characters. We focus on the basics of brush control, stroke order, and the meditative practice of forming characters, moving at a pace that allows everyone to feel comfortable and supported. You do not need any prior experience or a background in the language to join us.
