Join your fellow heathens for conversation over dinner and drinks!

We meet in the back covered patio area (it's heated) in the far back of the Wing Café, so look for some familiar faces at a long table! Please respond "going" if you plan to attend so others know who to watch for and how many chairs/tables we need. We also post this event in Facebook so keep in mind that the "going" number will actually be higher than it shows here. I try to get there around 6:30 pm to grab some tables, so come early if you can!

Our Deep Dive Zoom events will have a topic to discuss. Please message me with any topic ideas! The Zoom format really lends itself to a discussion vs trying to talk over the crowd noise at a restaurant or bar, plus people from all over the country (and Canada) can join in, and have! I will edit each Deep Dive with the Zoom link and topic a week or so ahead of time. See you there!

As those who attended last month's Meetup at Red Top Brewhouse know, they have been through some "changes" that have made it difficult - if not impossible - to continue meeting there. They cut staff and no longer will have the upstairs open during the week, not even for our group. The new manager was very clear that if we wanted to use that space, we would have to pay a "rental fee". The downstairs space we tried last time was incredibly noisy, especially when trivia started. And I won't even get into the parking situation since they started hosting the runner's group. We've had other "surprises" in our time there, and enough is enough.

Thus, we are going to try a NEW venue for next week: Horned Owl Brewing in downtown Kennesaw. There is free on-site parking. And since they are open on Tuesdays (unlike Red Top), we are going to move our monthly Meetup there back to the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This makes it again easier to remember our in-person Meetups: 2nd Tuesday (Horned Owl), 4th Tuesday (Wing Café).

In addition to great beer - including several European styles - they have a couple of hard seltzers and regular sodas. They recently opened a kitchen that offers delicious flat-bread pizzas, hot dogs, and several appetizers. And if that's not down your alley, right next door is Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken, and within a block is a Burger Fi, a Thai restaurant and more. They have indoor and outdoor space and a top deck - great for the coming fall weather!
