About us
Join other standup paddlers for regular standup paddle (and canoe and kayaking) meetups in Sausalito, San Rafael, Tiburon and beyond!
We are a group of paddlers of all ages and experience levels who want to get out on the water, get more experience, potentially train for races - but most importantly get our Blue Mind on!
We will be planning regular sunset paddles, morning paddles, participating in local races, and maybe even heading out on the road for paddles in Tomales Bay, Stinson Beach, Lake Tahoe and Monterey.
From time to time, you may see other paddle and water sport events here too if we learn of something fun to expand our horizons.

California River Quest 2026
Event Location, 115 Third Street, San Rafael, CA, USCalifornia River Quest, an ultra-endurance canoe race on the Sacramento River in Northern California is on May 24th this year.
Other key dates leading up to the event:
— Saturday, May 10, 2026: race registration closes
— Saturday, May 23, 2026: mandatory gear and boat inspection. You are required to have a USCG-approved Type III PFD (or equivalent on the new USCG scale).With several courses from 25 to 100 miles, it is an outstanding event for seasoned pros and ultra-racing newcomers alike.

Sunday 5/24: Race day.
6 AM start for 100 mile
6:20 AM start for 75 mile
6:40 AM start for 50 mile
7:00 AM start for 25 mile
