February Meetup, 6-8pm at VenturePad

VenturePad will host a dynamic gathering focusing on sustainable business strategies, and models, especially pertinent in today's world. Learn how to leverage commitment and navigate times of change to drive your business forward.

The February session is changed from the usual last Tues of the month, to Monday, February 24, 6-8pm. At VenturePad, 1020 B Street in downtown San Rafael.

Our guest speakers on February 24 are founders of Sound Legacy, a professional video production firm. The firm is focused on custom videos of 2-10 minutes each that showcases patriarchs, matriarchs, community and family leaders or interesting life stories. Using innovative production and conversion/integration of nearly any video and stills formats, videos can be made affordable for anyone. Sound Legacy is developing/launching an app that will automate old content conversions, add narrative and music all using a DIY process at a fraction of the cost and time for current legacy video productions. The founders will demo some video productions, their business model and value proposition. The other participants at the session will provide reviews and assessments of key questions on the business model and value prop.
Beside the new product demo and discussion, you can network with fellow professionals, entrepreneurs, and freelancers while gaining valuable insights on lean startup methodologies, how to create/test a business model and investor pitches.
