Hi, Aussies and English speakers in Tokyo!

We are renting a cafe in Otaku, Tokyo, just near where we live to have a language exchange cafe to practice speaking Japanese.

にほんごをれんしゅうするために、とうきょうと、おおたくに　ちいさなカフェをかりています。

We usually have it on Saturdays.
どようびに　あっています。

Craig is from Dorrigo, NSW, and I (Masako) am from Tokyo.

クレイグは、NSWしゅうのドリゴしゅっしんで、まさこは、とうきょうしゅっしんです。

We lived in Sydney, but moved to Japan 12 years ago.

シドニーにすんでいましたが、１２ねんまえに、にほんに きました。

Craig just passed N4 in JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and needs to practice speaking!!

クレイグのにほんごレベルは、JLPT N4ですが、いまは　はなすれんしゅうをしています。

There are usually participants of different levels and nationalities.

ちがうレベルのさんかしゃや　いろいろな　くにのひとが　きています。

If your Japanese is not at conversational level yet, a volunteer Japanese teacher will give you a small lesson on the spot, as long as you let us know beforehand.

It's a small cafe with limited seats.

We actually have another group called Mark House Language Exchange Cafe, regularly listing events called Language Exchange Cafe Tokyo-Meet new Japanese friends!

However, we sometimes list the same event here to balance the number of English and Japanese speakers.
