Special Jeet Kune Do Workshop with Tommy Gong

Details
Join us on Sunday September 28 from 3-5 PM for a special Jeet Kune Do (JKD) workshop.
JKD was the name Bruce Lee gave to his personal expression and approach to martial arts. The name translates to “The Way of the Intercepting Fist.”
There is no cost for this workshop and it is open to anyone interested in exploring this effective and efficient art. However, you must RSVP and let us know if you are coming, as space is limited.
We will train in JKD principles, including philosophy, footwork, striking and kicking techniques.
We are especially honored to welcome Tommy Gong to our workshop.
Tommy has decades of experience and a deep understanding of JKD.
Initially, he trained with Greglon Lee, the son of James Lee, one of Bruce’s closest friends and students. Later, he trained with Ted Wong, a private student of Bruce's for many years.
In the late 1990’s Bruce’s widow, Linda Lee, called Tommy and many of Bruce’s former students to join the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Nucleus with a goal of preserving and perpetuating Bruce’s teachings.
Tommy authored “Bruce Lee – The Evolution of a Martial Artist,” chronicling Bruce’s martial arts journey. You can obtain this book on Amazon at https://a.co/d/5TKFP2x. If you bring his book to the workshop, he will sign it!
We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting workshop. If you have any questions please email me or call my cell at 919-616-5555.
