The day just got better and better. Got a t-shirt and people keep coming up to me and asking if they could take my picture. Meet new friends. Not to mention I learned great songs. As Ice Cube said, "It was a good day"

I have a great time, meeting new friends and TOTALLY agree with the statement "It always better to play guitar with someone"

Another vote for having it more often! Say.. once per season? (4 times a year)

This was the most fun I've had in years. I thought that I wouldn't be able to participate much because it had been so long since I played the guitar, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly, that I felt like I had come home. Thank you!

I've been practicing all week. I only found out about this Monday! I wish I could join in on all the songs, but I can't get the power chords on the Judas Priest song.. Is there a tutorial you would recommend on how to form the power chords? It's probably too late now, so I'll sit it out, but it would be nice to know. Thank you for doing this! I can't wait.

I just started playing the guitar again after a period of six years. I hope I'm not too rusty. My skill level is pretty low, but this would mean a lot to me if I could do it! Am going to try.

    June 17, 2013

    • marguerite

Thanks, Lauren. I am not sure about my schedule tomorrow, but I'd love to come. I don't think I can swing it. You are doing a practice at 4 before the event, right?
