Hello!!!

Over the last decade or so, I've met 100s of adults that have wanted to not only find friendships but intimate relationships and life partners. I have heard so many of them talking about how hard it is to meet someone despite how badly they want to.

So... that is what I'd like for this meetup group to become, a place for those who not only want to make new friends but those who are looking for a date, romantic relationship, and/or life partner. The site will become a way to get matched with others who have similar interests and similar relationship goals as you.

How will it work? Simply reach out to me via message about what it is you are looking for. I will then contact you and send you a profile form. You can either fill it out on your own and send it back to me or we can do it together (over the phone or video chat). I'll then use the profiles to match people together who live at least somewhat close, and who's interests and relationship goals match up!

Only information that you want to be shared will be shared. Match introductions can happen via email, text, phone, video or in person. It will be up to you to set it up the meeting once information is exchanged and the two of you are alerted by me that the other is a potential "match."

Participants must be adults (over 18) and have a I/DD diagnosis.

Each member must also sign a waiver (I can not be held responsible should anything "go wrong" from someone being matched with someone else through this group). *Each member is responsible for their own safety and must be smart and vigilant whenever meeting someone new for the first time. There is a lot of information online about how to do this. And it's usually a good idea to keep friends/family updated on plans to meet new people, and it's usually a smart idea to choose a public place.
