What we're about

Mazama Trail Trips provides a wide variety of safe, enjoyable hikes and hiking-related activities to meet the needs of all Mazama members as well as the wider community. We schedule organized events which include hikes, street rambles, backpacking, car camping, trail tending, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing.

All Mazamas hikes are open to everyone, members or non-members. Our leaders are some of the most experienced hikers in the Northwest, and they can show you some spots that you might never get to on your own!

For more information on the Mazama Hiking program, including how to sign up, pacing, abbreviations, tips, rules, etc., head over to our website: https://mazamas.org/hiking/ .

*Please review the Mazama COVID-19 policies (https://mazamas.org/media/doc/2020_07_20_CovidPolicies.pdf), as they impact the usual logistics of our hiking trips.*

STREET RAMBLES are currently on hiatus. We will announce and repost those events once they return to the Mazama hiking schedule.

We hope you come hiking with us!

Due to the rise of the Delta variant, Multnomah County's recommendation to mask indoors, and the changes to the CDC's guidance, the Mazamas are shifting our policies accordingly. The Mazamas COVID page is up to date - https://mazamas.org/coronavirusresponse/ Please always use this page as the most up to date resource for our COVID policies.

Masks are required indoors for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status.
Masks are not required outdoors, but we do encourage everyone to continue to keep distance between themselves and others, and avoid physical contact such as handshakes, or hugs.
