What we’re about

Hi all and welcome!

I’m Michael, the President of the McLean Photo Club. We’re happy you’re interested and look forward to starting off 2020 with a bang, (or a shutter click).

The McLean Photography Club is an intimate collective of photography enthusiasts who meet monthly at the McLean Community Center for classes, showcases, and competitions. We’ve featured locally and nationally acclaimed artists who’ve brought insight and education, as both instructors and competition judges.

Our meetings began in September and conclude in June. This is our ‘club year’. We invite you to attend your first meeting for free. While member dues are $30, to help cover the costs for our website, guest lecturers, and group functions, we’re only asking for $15 beginning in January. Not a bad deal for 6 months of activities.

The McLean Community Center is minutes down the road from Tyson’s Corner, just off the beltway, and blocks from Downtown McLean which features various restaurants and local businesses. It’s easy to get here, convenient to stay, and close to the state lines (DC is only just off the main road RT 123 or GW Parkway and MD is right up 495)!

The center is fully renovated as off 2019, features fast wireless connections, and is the heart of the arts scene in McLean. They also feature ample parking, an amazing accomplishment in 21st century NoVa! See more of the center at www.mcleancenter.org
