Has anyone ever said to you: "Isn't eating just plants unhealthy though?" or “But you can't get enough protein." Join us in a myth-shattering journey, where together we’ll challenge preconceived notions and celebrate the truth about vegan food.

Presented by:
Linda Purcell, chef and author of Veggie OUTLAWS — Most Wanted Vegan Recipes. With over 14 years of plant-based experience and a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate, Linda's passionate about crafting healthy, flavourful vegan dishes.

Linda's book "Veggie OUTLAWS — Most Wanted Vegan Recipes" (with everything from comforting classics to decadent desserts) will be available for sale - ($30.00.- Cash or credit card)

What to bring? Not casseroles or lasagnas or main course dinner meals, but pretty much anything plant-based that you enjoy eating as a snack is A-OK. We'd like to request something other than chips & crackers, only because we usually get way too many, and no peanuts or peanut butter because two people at Co-Housing have allergies (anaphylactic) to peanuts. Please make sure your snack contains no animal products--that means no meat, dairy, whey, gelatin, eggs, and seafood--so that everyone can partake.

Also please bring a $2 cash donation to cover Vancouver Cohousing's cost of hosting us (hot water, soap, TP etc.).
