Veggie Drinks & Fries

Join us for conversation and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink and some fries at the Billy Bishop. Please read everything below.

This location has been chosen because it offers a delightful sheltered outdoor patio without loud music. Well-behaved dogs are also allowed alongside their people on the grassy section of the patio! (See photo below.)

There are vegan friendly beers and wines available and of course non-alcoholic drinks. Before ordering your beverage of choice, you may wish to consult: https://www.barnivore.com/

Vegan food on offer is limited, hence the suggestion of fries, but you may be able to order a custom salad. The fries are delicious.

The Billy Bishop is a legion hall with many pictures of airplanes, some dating back to the early days of flight. Those who do not believe in supporting establishments with ties to veterans or that serve meat may decide this is not the right venue for them.

The Billy Bishop is convenient for transit, has bike racks in front and free parking nearby but parking may take a while to find, so allow extra time if coming by car.

NB. Non-members of the legion are required to sign in at the bar upon arrival. Sign in when you order your drink and then join us on the patio.
