If you're craving bold, authentic Chinese Sichuan flavours — or curious to experience mala cuisine in a fully plant-based way — come join our vegan Sichuan dining event downtown!

This time, we'll be sharing Vegan Mala Dry Hot Pot, one of the most iconic dishes from Sichuan cuisine, prepared entirely with plant-based ingredients. Mala Dry Hot Pot is known for its complex, memorable flavours: numbing Sichuan peppercorns, fragrant dried chilies, garlic, and spices stir-fried together. “Mala” literally means numbing and spicy, and it's a true classic of Sichuan food culture.

⚠️ Spice level: Medium spicy (not adjustable)

The Mala Dry Hot Pot includes a variety of vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, lotus root, and wood ear mushrooms, along with plant-based proteins like tofu and tofu skin, making it a hearty and satisfying dish.
We'll be eating family-style, with dishes shared between two people.

*Vegan Mala Dry Hot Pot (assorted vegetables & tofu-based proteins)
*Poached Green Vegetables
*Steamed Rice (2 bowls)

Price $28 per person including tax and tip.

NB. This is a prepaid event. The address to e-transfer funds to will show up in the RSVP question. Refunds will be processed up to 25 hours before the event, minus a $2 processing fee.
