Lunch at International Buddhist Temple
Details
The International Buddhist Temple, a magnificent complex modelled after the Forbidden City in China, is widely regarded as the most exquisite example of Chinese imperial architecture in Canada.
We'll begin with a brief self-guided tour of the grounds, followed by Dharma talk about Buddhism by a monastic from the temple named Sister Pala. Then we will have a deelicious vegan lunch.
The lunch menu typically includes:
- Sichuan-style spicy tofu
- Sweet and sour vegetarian “meat”
- Fried vegetables
- Fried noodles
- Steamed or fried rice
To join us, e-transfer $27 to the address in the RSVP question when you register.
