Join us for a nutrition talk and discussion with renowned dietician Vesanto Melina and Dr Charlyn Black, co-authors of the brand new book "Plant Powered Seniors", They share with us the latest research, along with practical tips and even a simple chocolate pudding (to taste). Come if you are over 50, or planning to be, or might like to help a senior who is a friend or relative. This event provides practical tips to age in good health and reduce risk of chronic disease!

You must be registered to attend. The event will be held at Vancouver Co-housing, an intentional co-housing community. As usual, we request a $2 donation for Vancouver Cohousing. Also please bring a vegan snack but be sure it includes NO PEANUTS. (Cohousing has at someone with an anaphylactic reaction to peanuts.)

What's a snackluck? It's a low-stress potluck where each person brings a snack to share. Could be cookies, fresh fruit, veggies and dip, whatever you want. Just please make sure your snack contains no animal products--that means no meat, dairy, whey, gelatin, eggs, and seafood--so that everyone can partake.

Take note: While we're big fans of the plant-based diet, everyone who has registered is welcome, from omnivore to vegan (no pets please).

Parking is free, but as there is construction next door, you may need to park around the corner.
