When things go wrong, our habitual response is often resistance, frustration, or anger. Yet while there are many difficult and unpleasant situation we cannot avoid, we can certainly avoid the unhappiness and anger that these situations normally provoke in us. The real source of our distress is not hardship itself, but our lack of acceptance and patience in the face of it.
This half-day course invites you to move from feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges to discovering them as opportunities for growth. We will explore patient acceptance as a practical and powerful path to inner peace, learning how meditation helps cultivate a calm, resilient mind. When life presents challenges, we can then respond more wisely, find peaceful solutions, and experience freedom from unhelpful worry.
