Sessions of guided meditations & talks based on Letting Go of Anxiety.

Session Times

  • Log on/Register 13:45 - 14:00

Many people suffer from feelings of fear and constant anxiety or are simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life. During this retreat Ian McGlade will explore mindfulness methods, meditations and ways of thinking derived from Buddha’s teachings that will help us to become fearless in the face of adversity and deal with our negative emotions more confidently and effectively.

Guiding the retreat is Kadampa Buddhist Teacher Ian McGlade.

Appreciated by participants throughout the country, Ian's guided meditations and talks can help gain insights into our more painful and challenging states of mind, and move through them into the development of more acceptance, compassion and inner freedom.

Seating will be in your choice of chairs or matts and cushions.

There will be a 30min refreshment break at about 3:30pm.

Complimentary hot drinks and light snacks will be available in our cafe lounge area.

You can also join this retreat from home via Zoom and by Video Catch Up.

Everyone is welcome. The retreat is suitable to those new to meditation as well as experienced practitioners.
