What we're about

If you want to find some calm and energy and would like get the support of a meditation group, join us! I am here to make sure some healing time is folded into even the most difficult of days.

I have been practising a wide variety of meditations for over 30 years for my own personal development and anxiety management. This practice has transformed my life, and I love sharing the magic of meditation! I qualified as a teacher through the British School of Meditation and hold meditation sessions in person and online alongside my day job.

I will guide you in a variety of meditations I love to set you off (or set you back on track) with your inner journey of finding calm amongst all you do!

Here's what's on offer:

  • I do short free online guided and accesible meditations on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. These sessions are a great place to begin your meditation journey or simply if you want support to start your evening wind down or keep on track with your meditation practice.

A small donation for these sessions is appreciated, via PayPal to contact@meditatingwitholga.com

  • I also do longer in depth meditation afternoons that support areas of personal growth and celebrate the cycles of nature every third Sunday (a small £5 payment is requested).
  • If you live near Chorley, Lancashire, you can attend my Friday Evening Wind Down Meditations at the Healing Well: https://portal.gymcatch.com/providers/3794/events

Cleansing the Mind and Heart Online Meditation Workshop

Online event

£5.00

The 26th May is Vesak, a holiday traditionally observed by Buddhists and some Hindus in to commemorate the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha, so this meditation afternoon will focus on simple versions of Buddhist meditations.

We will do some conscious breathing to encounter life in the present moment, as taught by Thich Nhat Hahn in his ‘Peace is every step’. We will continue to explore the Buddhist concept of the vast, still, silent, unchanging and clear mind with a ‘blue sky mind’ visualization. We will close the afternoon with another important Buddhist meditation: “metta” or loving-kindness meditation, the practice of sending positive energy and kindness toward self and others.

🧘‍♀️This is an event open to beginners and those who already have an experience of meditative practice.

💻 The cost is £5, please register on https://gymcatch.com/app/provider/3794/events/2059905 or via PayPal https://paypal.me/meditatingwitholga
