Meet like-minded people interested in meditation near you! Learn how to meditate or deepen your current meditation practice. A trademark of the meditations we emphasize is the ease in which they can be used both “on the cushion” and in our daily lives.
Each meeting will include practical meditation, and a talk on how to reduce stress and other problems encountered in daily life and how to increase mental and physical well-being. There will also be plenty of time to discuss the ideas presented. Although the meditations and talks are based on Kadampa Buddhist philosophy, you don't need to be a Buddhist to enjoy this group or benefit from our meditations.

We Can Heal the Past
In this series, we will apply Buddha’s powerful and liberating teachings on the nature of the mind and reality to change our experience of the past. “Simply Meditate” is a perfect opportunity to learn different meditations and the basics of a meditation practice. Each class includes two guided 15-minute meditations and instructions that can easily be integrated into daily life.
Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike, Simply Meditate helps everyone discover the profound benefits of engaging in meditation and learn how to develop a naturally peaceful, calm and happy mind.
Each class is self contained and on a drop in basis, so there is no need to register in advance or attend the entire series. Chairs are provided and their are meditation cushions for those who wish to sit on the floor.

Your Intentions Create Your Future with Resident Teacher Cindy Parker
Buddha’s teachings on karma give us the power to change our life, not just in the future, but right now, immediately. By showing clearly how our experiences arise from our intentions and actions (karma), we are given the tools to create the life we want.
This course will be geared towards helping us understand our karma – and consequently, our life – as something dynamic and changeable as opposed to fixed and stuck. Taking this insight to heart through meditation is deeply empowering and opens us up to a whole new creative and joyful way of being.
