Intuitive painting grace & joy online workshop!

For all levels! No art-experience necessary just a willingness to be open and see what arises. Letting go of judgement, no good/bad or right/wrong... **please see the general group description 'What we're about' here on Meetup for lots more info.

We will be painting around a loose theme which will be sent to you a few days before the workshop. This is a relaxed, friendly group and focused too in that we have a guided meditation to start and then approx 15 mins of quiet painting, which is wonderful and flows so well from the meditation.

This works so well on Zoom, too, we can move away from the camera to paint, if preferred - I set up on my floor, I can still be seen...then back to the screen at other times. So we're painting together, apart...and then sharing together. I've found there's a lovely natural ease and flow with this. There's no necessity to be always on camera. I've practised the workshop with my online group, with really happy and wonderful results!

Then we share ideas, chat a little, have a cup of tea... paint to music and see what unfolds. A wonderful shared experience and the time flies. We also have poetry sometimes, EFT and oracle cards, whatever is of interest to the group as a whole.

It's absolutely fine if you don't want to talk too much or want to get a feel for the group first, as an HSP introvert I totally understand!

Any paints, pencils, pastels, brushes, art equipment and paper that you usually like to use is perfect. These can be cheap supplies, certainly to start with as the objective is to feel free and not 'precious' about how we paint. The bigger the better for paper, too, to be free and expressive, but if you prefer smaller that's ok too.
