About Meditation
Meditation is the state of 'thoughtless awareness' during which excessive stress producing activity of the mind is neutralized without reducing alertness and effectiveness.
Once the mind is free of thoughts, we live in the present moment, are free of reactions and remain calm in tense situations. Incidents that have happened in the past do not disturb us and anxieties coming from the unknown future stop stressing us out.
This state is achieved by using our own nourishing energy present at the bottom of our spine in the 'sacrum bone' known as Kundalini.
