If you're interested in learning more about Buddhism, a 12-week course is available to get you started.
The schedule for the course is as follows:
- 7:00 pm Meditation
- 7:45 pm Dhamma Talk
- 8:20 pm Q&A
- 8:30 pm End
The course outline is as follows:
- 6th Mar: Introduction
- 13th Mar: General Knowledge of Buddhism
- 20th Mar: The Nature of Life 1
- 27th Mar: The Nature of Life 2
- 3rd Apr: The Buddha 1
- 10th Apr: The Buddha 2
- 17th Apr: The Dhamma 1
- 24th Apr: The Dhamma 2
- 1st May: The Sangha (The Buddhist Monk) 1
- 8th May: No class
- 15th May: The Sangha (The Buddhist Monk) 2
- 22nd May: Vesak Day
- 29th May: The Lay Devotees Who Sit Near the Triple Gem
Please note that the subject of each week's session may change due to circumstances and audiences. Don't worry if you can't attend every week, as the teaching monk will briefly review previous topics at the beginning of each session to ensure everyone can follow along.
After completing this course, we may proceed to explore other Buddhist topics that could prove beneficial in our daily lives.
There is no entry fee for the course, but we welcome donations to support our cause. The suggested donation is £5 per session.
