Details
RAKSHA BANDHAN
Experience God’s Love & Protection
All welcome
You will receive a small bag with a rakhi thread, a fruit, a blessing card, a gift, and a sweet.
All symbolic and beautifully explained by Sister Rose.
Enjoy a peaceful afternoon and experience your inner strength through meditation.
Tie a thread to remind yourself of God's protection.
Join us in a peaceful atmosphere.
Sister Rose shares her perspective on Rakhi.
You are invited to make your determined thoughts for a more peaceful awareness. Raksha means "protection," bandhan means "bond".
Tying a rakhi thread on the wrist symbolizes a determined thought to return to the original peaceful nature of the soul through relationship with The Divine.
This strengthens our connection to The Source & enables us to feel God's protection from negativity.
To live a spiritual life is to live a natural life, for despite our physical nature and circumstances; we are all, actually at our core, spiritual beings.
Recognize this innate spirituality and create a stable foundation upon which to build a stress free, happy life no matter what the situation!
Seating = chairs
ALL EVENTS ARE FREE
Rose Goodenough who co-ordinates InnerSpace has been practising & teaching meditation since the early 1980s. She has a wealth of wisdom.
Visitors frequently ask us how we fund the work of the BKWSU and Inner Space.
All volunteers are unpaid. They give their time & skills freely.
The Founder of the Brahma Kumaris, Brahma Baba, created the principle to provide opportunities for everyone to develop their own spiritual potential, without charge, regardless of age, background or financial circumstances. The running of Inner Space is entirely through voluntary contributions which are gratefully received.
BKWSU (UK) was established as a UK charity in 1975 and charges no fees for any of its activities, being funded by voluntary contributions. Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is a registered charity in Scotland No. SC040512
Rose Goodenough is the coordinator of InnerSpace Glasgow for the Brahma Kumaris.
She is a very experienced teacher of meditation and practical spirituality with the BK World Spiritual University. Although she did not consider herself a spiritual seeker, until she came across Brahma Kumaris and Raja Yoga Meditation, Rose has been a daily practitioner since the early 1980s.
Over the years, she has travelled widely, sharing the knowledge she has gathered. She runs events with a small team of volunteers in and around Glasgow. Topics include; meditation, positive thinking, self-esteem, stress-free living, inner values, wellbeing and spirituality.
With a background in performance and music, Rose now uses her artistic and vocal talents in a very different way!
She speaks calmly and in an uplifting way to share deep spiritual truths.
Sessions and talks are simple and accessible. This enables anyone listening to take away something very practical, positive and potentially life-changing for sessions at InnerSpace.
But it’s more than what is said that has the most impact and lasting impression.
The vibrations created in BK spaces is one of peace, lightness, gentleness and warmth.
A deep sense of peace is reported by many attendees the minute they step inside.
Everyone needs peace. Rediscover your peace.
Each person’s spiritual journey is unique.
We are all students and learning together, but it’s valuable to meet experienced BK meditation teachers like Rose. You can ask questions or simply listen and feel the support of the peaceful atmosphere.

Every week on Sunday until December 28, 2025
