About us
Meet others with an interest in meditation and transforming daily life into something extraordinary. Learn how to meditate or deepen your current meditation practice but mainly learn how to use different ways of thinking in daily life to solve inner problems and find inner peace. A trademark of the meditations of Modern Buddhism is the emphasis of ease in which they can be used both “on the cushion” and in our daily lives. In this way it is very easy to integrate your inner life with your daily life.
Each meeting will include a talk on how to reduce stress and other problems encountered in daily life and how to increase mental and physical well-being through developing inner peace. Each meeting with include guided meditation. There will also be plenty of time to discuss the ideas presented. Although the meditations and talks are based on Kadampa Buddhist philosophy, you don't need to be a Buddhist to enjoy this group or benefit from our meditations.
Kadampa Buddhism stresses a spiritual path of individual transformation and to look within ourselves for the inner peace and happiness we seek. Everyone is welcome! Refreshments served after the meetings.
