Making a mala, or rosary of prayer beads is more than just an arts & crafts project. If done mindfully, it is a spiritual practice in itself, and the object we create is also special, becoming more and more blessed as we use it.
Mantra recitation is an essential element of many spiritual practices, as a way of requesting protection, blessings, and attainments. Learn how to make your own mala, as well as some simple mantras to connect with enlightened beings such as Buddha Shakyamuni, Avalokiteshvara, and Tara.
