Meet in Real Life- Marbella & Estepona Events & Activities

This is a development from our existing facebook group which has attracted over 8k followers in just over a year since founded. The idea is simply to share and to schedule social events to meet people in person, as too much life is online.

Anyone is welcome to join this group and the events but as the founder of this group, I created this community connection as I discovered moving to Estepona, just how much harder it is to meet folks in their 20s, 30s and 40s, who are not tied down with children and who might also be single too.

This is not itself a dating site but its primary focus is to help digital nomads such as myself, to widen our social horizons, whether simply to make new acquaintances or friends over a shared interest and that is also surely a more natural way for singles to meet someone new too.

The primary obstacle to socialising proactively, living in Estepona and Marbella, seems to be that the social life is rather dominated by retiree age folks and I want to create a space where, those of us not yet enjoying our silver years, can find each other more easily.

If you are not married with children, whether you are single or a couple, you probably can relate to what I am saying. Plus this region can be transient- people come and go. The idea behind this community space is to invite you to eg wine tasting events or guided walks or other types of social participatory experiences eg such as a cooking class.

Note that this group has a very long title but it is not a digital space to join and then never to actually show up. So please do make an effort, if you join here, to follow events as they are posted and to RSVP to attend. Likewise, most events will be limited to 10 persons, to make a more intimate sized group. We will run a waiting list too and as someone may cancel RSVP, next person on the wait list, is added to the event list.

The first event will be scheduled in late November and the plan is to schedule one event per month in Marbella and one per month in Estepona.
