- Be mindful of your skin and apply sunscreen or practice in the shade
- Please Hydrate and bring water if you need
- PET Parents! Please be mindful for everyone of your fur baby attending and how it will be in the sun and or around other pets during the practice.
- The class is weather permitting as we will be outdoors so be sure to check here for updates!The intention of this class is to create a space where we can come together as a community to move our bodies, expand our minds, explore our breath, and re-connect to ourselves and those around us. We then work to integrate the teaching we receive on our mats into life.
This is a 60 minute- all levels class that will include movement as well an opportunity to mingle (safely) together, discussing varying topics as we support each other in an ever changing world.
Habitual Roots is a local non-profit and registered as a US 501 (c)(3) public charity.
Habitual Roots is a community organization that helps individuals improve their wellbeing through social connection, wellness offerings, and community groups. All of our events and programs rely on evidence based principles and methods to ensure effectiveness. It’s our goal to create a warm and inviting space for self-expression and interpersonal connection in a judgment-free environment.

FREE for MEMBERSHike & Hatha invites you to experience how the practice of Hatha yoga can directly enhance your sense of peace, presence, and perception of creation.
We’ll begin at a designated meetup spot near a trailhead or park. Depending on the location, we’ll either start our Hatha practice right there or enjoy a short walk (up to 45 minutes) to a scenic spot for class.
What to bring :
🌿Water or warm drink
🌿Yoga Mat
🌿Nourishment
🌿Rain, snow, or cold weather gear if weather is expected
🌿Microspikes or crampons in icy/snowy conditions (Nov. - May)
🌿Present heart, open mind
🌿Comfort with walking in the dark (in a group)

Note: this event is weather dependent. If it is too cold, snowy, rainy or overcast, we may cancel. We will post an announcement if this occurs.
The yoga session will range from 45 to 75 minutes, tailored to the setting and the flow of the group.Our movement practice will set the tone for an intentional hike, guiding us into a state of gratitude and gentle awareness. Along the way, we’ll explore releasing techniques and meditative walking practices, so you can carry the calm and clarity back into daily life.
