About us
This group is for people in Oslo who want to meet new people in an easy, fun way.
You can find our socials here: https://linktr.ee/martiniskovli
We usually host small, structured social events where it’s simple to start conversations and get to know others, even if you are completely new to the city and such events, this is very low barrier to entry!
This is also a good way of expanding your social network.
Most events are:
- Small groups (so it doesn’t feel overwhelming)
- Guided to make interaction natural
- Focused on actually connecting, not just showing up
joining alone is completely normal.

Bodyweight workout in Oslo
Location not specified yetDetails
We’re meeting for a relaxed outdoor workout at a calisthenics park in Oslo.
I want to keep it simple: show up in clothes you can move in, we use the bars together, and you go at your own level.
There is no rigid program or pressure. I’ll suggest a light warm-up and some exercises we can do side by side. If you want tips on form, I’m happy to help — but I am not a certified personal trainer, so think of this as a friendly group session, not coaching.
I’ll bring some water to share. Please bring your own bottle as well — you can fill it at home before you come.
Who’s welcome:
Anyone curious about calisthenics or bodyweight training who wants to exercise with others.
We’ll speak English and/or Norwegian depending on who’s there.
Both are completely fine.
IMPORTANT: Outdoor training is at your own risk. Listen to your body; skip anything that doesn’t feel right. If you’re unsure about injuries or health limits, check with a professional first.
If the weather is truly bad (heavy rain / unsafe conditions), I may cancel or postpone — I’ll post in the event comments as early as I can.
When:
Every Saturday, 13:00–14:30.
You can arrive a little late or leave earlier if you need to — if you can, try to join near the start so we warm up together.
Where:
Outdoor gym in a public green space, 0273 Oslo — use the map pin on this event for the exact location.
The spot has orange calisthenics equipment (bars for pull-ups, dips, and similar) right next to a wooden skate ramp. Here is the link on google maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AbuPW1NDRGZPRTWx9
How to find us:
Meet at the orange workout bars beside the wooden skate ramp. There is a small wooden cabin-style building and a lamp post nearby.
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes and shoes you can train in. A water bottle (see above).
Optional: thin gloves if the bars feel rough.Cost:
Free to join.
RSVP:
Please keep your RSVP up to date so I know roughly who to expect.
If you have any questions, just comment on this event and I’ll reply :D

Singles running and swimming around sognsvann
Location not specified yetThis is a social run around Sognsvann for singles in Oslo, with an optional swim and hangout afterwards.
NORSK: We write in English so everyone can understand, but this event is just as much for Norwegians as for international participants.
The event is organised through Dypere, a Norwegian dating platform where people meet through profiles and real-life events instead of endless swiping.
I’m hosting on the day through my brand Room for More, so people from this group can find the event and show up together. I’m not part of the Dypere team, but I’ll help with the meetup, pace, and friendly group vibe on the day. I enjoy creating a nice atmosphere where people feel welcome.
What we’ll do
We meet at Sognsvann stasjon and do one lap around the lake, approximately 3.2 km, at an inclusive pace. All levels are welcome. The first lap is social and relaxed. After the first lap, there will be an optional second lap at a slightly faster pace for those who want more intensity.
After the run, we hang out by the grass/water with snacks, conversation, and an optional swim for anyone who wants to cool down.
Stay for as long or as short as you like. We’ll arrange bag watch during the run, so you can leave a bag with us if you’re coming straight from work or studies and don’t want to carry everything around the lake.
WhatsApp group for event updates
Information about where we are, small changes during the event, and practical updates will be posted in this WhatsApp group:
https://chat.whatsapp.com/IFeddZeWHdpKL5MW6CuQus
It is strongly recommended to join the group, at least temporarily for this event, so you can get updates reliably.Who it’s for
Singles aged 18–39 who want to meet people offline in a low-pressure and active setting.
Come alone or with friends.
We’ll likely speak a mix of English and Norwegian depending on who shows up.Why sign up on Dypere, not only Meetup
This event is built for Dypere, not as a Meetup-only gathering.
On Dypere, you log in with Vipps (if you have it), create a user, and build a profile through guided questions. These are short conversation-style answers that show up on your profile. This helps people see who might be at the event before and after the run.
The official attendance list and event page are on Dypere:
https://www.dypere.no/arrangementer/7hdRytx40s7dxsSCiuTwtAIf you don’t have Vipps
You can RSVP here on Meetup and answer the questions that appear when you sign up.
We use your answers to add simple profiles on Dypere, so people on the platform can see who is coming from this Meetup group. You do not get a Dypere login or account this way; it only lets your answers appear alongside the other attendees in the event context on Dypere.
If you can, we still recommend creating your own Dypere profile with Vipps when you’re ready. When
Monday 8 June 2026
The event starts at 18:00.
The metro to Sognsvann takes around 20 minutes from Oslo S on T-bane Line 3. Allow a few extra minutes for walking at each end.Where
