About us
This group is for people in Oslo who want to meet new people in an easy, fun way.
You can find our socials here: https://linktr.ee/martiniskovli
We usually host small, structured social events where it’s simple to start conversations and get to know others, even if you are completely new to the city and such events, this is very low barrier to entry!
This is also a good way of expanding your social network.
Most events are:
- Small groups (so it doesn’t feel overwhelming)
- Guided to make interaction natural
- Focused on actually connecting, not just showing up
joining alone is completely normal.

Monday social board-game evening
No Stress Strøget, Torggata 11, Oslo, NOWelcome to our Monday board-game evening at No Stress in Strøget, Oslo.
Just come as you are, sit down with the group, play a board game or just chat, and meet other nice attendees.
This is a social event first and foremost.
The venue provides games for us, and they already have a good selection of really good games.
If there is enough interest in specific new games or expansions, the venue may also consider getting them for future events.
You’re still very welcome to bring a board game or card game you like, so we have more to choose from.
We’ll split into smaller tables depending on what people want to play, how long the games take, and the general mood of the evening.
No experience is needed. We explain the rules as we go. I will also try my best to understand them myself first, then explain them, haha.
Who’s welcome
Locals, newcomers, internationals, and anyone who likes games, wants to meet people in Oslo, or just wants a relaxed evening with others.
We’ll likely speak a mix of English and Norwegian.

Friday Pub Crawl Oslo: Meet lovely people
Youngstorget 3 inne på Kulturhuset., Youngstorget 3, Oslo, NOWe’re doing a pub crawl in central Oslo every Friday.
I’ll be hosting: a few bar stops, short walks between them, and easy, engaging conversations where we try to include everybody and create a good atmosphere.
I’m very excited about this event, and I want to make sure it becomes a good experience for all of you.
Feedback, suggestions, ideas, or concerns are genuinely welcome.
The plan is something simple and social:- 3 bars in central Oslo
- 1st: YNG Bar and Social (Youngstorget 3, 0181 Oslo, Norway)
- 2nd: Tilt (Badstugata 6, 0183 Oslo, Norway)
- 3rd: Usually i would go partying with those who wanted, but this time i need to work at the Old Irish at Klingenberg, so that is our last stop!
- around 40–50 minutes at each place
- short walks between locations
- easy, low-pressure conversations
That said, the route is flexible.
If the group wants to stop somewhere else, stay longer at one place, skip a place, or adjust the plan as we go, we can do that.
The point is not to mechanically complete a route, but to have a good social evening together.
If we don’t make it to every bar, that’s completely fine, we adapt.
I’m also trying to get some small perks or benefits at some of the bars for future Fridays.
We’ll see what I’m able to arrange.
You don’t need to drink alcohol, and we enjoy your company regardless.

Everybody of age: Locals, newcomers, internationals, and anyone who wants to meet people in Oslo in a relaxed and engaging social setting. We’ll likely speak a mix of English and Norwegian.

It is very smart to join the WhatsApp group before attending.
That is where I can post useful updates during the evening, for example:- when we leave one bar and go to the next
- if we change the route
- if we split up temporarily
- if we decide to stay longer somewhere
- if someone is trying to find us

I’m building the community, and for now the only thing I ask is that you consider leaving a review after attending, and maybe share the event with friends or on social media if you like the concept.Later, I may start charging a low amount to make the events easier to organize and improve over time, but this edition is free.

Bodyweight workout in Oslo
Location not specified yetDetails
We’re meeting for a relaxed outdoor workout at a calisthenics park in Oslo.
I want to keep it simple: show up in clothes you can move in, we use the bars together, and you go at your own level.
There is no rigid program or pressure. I’ll suggest a light warm-up and some exercises we can do side by side. If you want tips on form, I’m happy to help — but I am not a certified personal trainer, so think of this as a friendly group session, not coaching.
I’ll bring some water to share. Please bring your own bottle as well — you can fill it at home before you come.
Who’s welcome:
Anyone curious about calisthenics or bodyweight training who wants to exercise with others.
We’ll speak English and/or Norwegian depending on who’s there.
Both are completely fine.
IMPORTANT: Outdoor training is at your own risk. Listen to your body; skip anything that doesn’t feel right. If you’re unsure about injuries or health limits, check with a professional first.
If the weather is truly bad (heavy rain / unsafe conditions), I may cancel or postpone — I’ll post in the event comments as early as I can.
When:
Every Saturday, 13:00–14:30.
You can arrive a little late or leave earlier if you need to — if you can, try to join near the start so we warm up together.
Where:
Outdoor gym in a public green space, 0273 Oslo — use the map pin on this event for the exact location.
The spot has orange calisthenics equipment (bars for pull-ups, dips, and similar) right next to a wooden skate ramp. Here is the link on google maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AbuPW1NDRGZPRTWx9
How to find us:
Meet at the orange workout bars beside the wooden skate ramp. There is a small wooden cabin-style building and a lamp post nearby.
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes and shoes you can train in. A water bottle (see above).
Optional: thin gloves if the bars feel rough.Cost:
Free to join.
RSVP:
Please keep your RSVP up to date so I know roughly who to expect.
If you have any questions, just comment on this event and I’ll reply :D
