We do a road trip covering the entire Iceland (ring road) and if time permits golden route in 8 days.

Why Sept?

• Less crowded, not many tourists and weather is chilly
• Cold temperatures (temp around -5 to 5 grad) experience
• Roads are still open
• Cheap car rentals and hostels
• Most important – NORTHERN LIGHTS 

Am I right for this Ice-land trip?

• This trip is for travellers who like to do outdoors, adventures and flexible to change in plans and willing to have ACTIVE holidays not a normal holiday.
• You are active, adventures, ready for surprises, easy going and willing to explore to the fullest.
• Weather is unpredictable you need to be prepared physically and mentally for all kinds of weather, including heavy rain, snow, blizzards and wind etc.,
• No exception in terms of hiking, walking in snow or in wind or rain. What we planned for the day we will do until and unless if the weather is terrible
• We keep moving from place to place, stay in hostels so you should be able to adapt to all circumstances
• We might hike 5km every day (up-hills) or stay at nights outside to look for Aurora lights
• If you don’t expect 8 hours sleep everyday
• Able to survive with energy bars or fruits if we miss a meal but mostly we cook food at night and carry box next day.
• You cook or at least help in cooking for the group (we plan to cook whenever it’s possible)
• We do this trip as a group!!! We share the work as a team, Ex. fixing the car tyre
• Imagine 9 days with the strangers at the end we call friends (keep this mindset)

• Northern lights (I cant promise but at this time we will surely see)
• Adventures Hiking near Kirkjufell
• Visiting Gullfoss or Seljalandsfoss water Falls
• Diamond beach
• Hiking near Friðland að Fjallabaki
• Glacier hiking (we will book a tour)
• Hot spring lagoon / Blue lagoon

Estimated cost to the trip:

• Flights – 280/330 (only early booking) if you want to save more money,
• Accommodation – 60/70 Night or less (Mostly hostels or cabins)
• Car rental for 8 days including gas – 300/400/500 (Depends on vehicle)
• Food (mostly we take grocery and cook), activities, tolls, entrance to parks extra
• Organising expense for 8 days – 180 euros
