Hiking at "Bohemian Borderlands" Hrensko - Czech Republic
Details
Join us for an unforgettable early-April getaway to Hřensko, Czech Republic.
Experience the majestic Pravčická brána (Europe's largest sandstone arch), sail through emerald canyons, and conquer the panoramic peaks of Jetřichovice.
### The "Big 5" Highlights:
- Pravčická brána & Falcon’s Nest We start our trip with a walk to the "Great Gate," a huge natural stone arch. You can see all the way into Germany from the top! We will stop for lunch at a historic restaurant built right into the side of the mountain.
- Soutěsky Canyon We will walk down into deep, green canyons covered in moss. The best part is a peaceful boat ride through the water, with giant stone walls all around us.
- Jetřichovice & The Dwarf Rocks We go deep into the forest to see the "Dwarf Rocks." You can see tiny figures carved into the stone that tell old local stories.
- Falkenštejn Rock Castle This is a short walk up to the ruins of an old castle. From the top, you can look down at the amazing rock formations that look like a "city" made of stone.
- Mary’s Rock (Mariina vyhlídka) We save the best view for last. We will climb up to a small wooden hut on top of a rock. From here, you can see the whole park and the green trees of spring in every direction.
