9 km walk along the Mauerweg to Mauerpark + optional Belgian beer experience🍺

Let's trace the old Berlin Wall on foot! We'll meet at Wittenau station at 3 pm and set off on a relaxed 9 km walk south along the Mauerweg, the trail that follows the former Berlin Wall, all the way to Mauerpark. It's an easy and varied walk, full of parks, water channels and small reminders of the city's divided past.
We'll reach Mauerpark around 5:30pm and take a proper break (5:30–6:30 pm) — bring a picnic, grab food from the stalls nearby, or just relax on the grass while the park comes alive. Afterwards, anyone who's up for it can join an optional Belgian beer experience at Herman Belgian Bar to round off the day. If you are a beer lover but have never tried the Belgian style of brewing, you can't miss this!
Meeting point: outside the Wittenau U8 exit. How to get there: U8 or S-Bahn (S1/S85/S26) to Wittenau.
What to bring: comfy shoes, water, a snack or picnic, and some cash for food/drinks. Optional: a picnic blanket.
