Easy Hike 2 Winnekenni Castle & or Drinks & or Food, Haverhill Ma. Sunday April 28th. 1pm. A Child & Dog friendly event. This is a Muti-group event. Event is listed with up to 5 other Groups. So all RSVPs can't be seen. Meet at 1 pm. in the free Parking lot at NECC. NOT AT THE CASTLE. Click on the address in this write up for this event. Use that map to find what parting lot we are in. We will start on our hike of around 5 miles. This is not a race. We will be traveling at conversation speed. So, if you are not talking to someone? You are moving too fast. We will be making a lot of stops to smell the roses and enjoy the scenery along the trails. This is not a flat trails, It has some nice hills with pleasant views from the top by the castle. 700 acres of land to enjoy. We will go by the lightning strike stump. The twisted birch tree, impact crater, where the little elfs and fairies live and of course the castle. If it rains a couple of days before the hike and if Deon join us. We maybe able to find some edible mushrooms.
